Again, it has been a while since I've posted...I apologize. We have been quite busy the past few weeks with Mommy going back to work and figuring this daycare thing out. We thought we had everything lined up- our wonderful friend Ajia was going to watch Harper for the first two weeks and then it would be on to permanent daycare. Well Ajia helped a ton!!! We loved having lil' Harper stay with her b/c we knew she was in great hands! On the 16th Harper went to her first day of permanent daycare, mom was definitely worried all day. Daddy came home and things apparently went fine, which made me much more comfortable. That feeling lasted for about 2 hours and then they daycare lady called to say that she had a family emergency and could no longer take Harper. No warning, no "you have til the end of the week with me", no nothing. Harper couldn't go back the next day and that was that.
So I stayed home with her the next day and we spent the next day calling everywhere trying to find a replacement. Luckily we found one person that had an opening for an infant. We met her that night and this past Monday, the 23rd, Harper started there. We really like Miss Julie! The kids there are also great. Harper is getting more and more used to being there during the day and seems to be doing well. I guess it was a blessing in disguise with the other place not working out. We were also lucky enough to have both sets of grandparents and Ajia close to help out! THANK YOU!
Harper is really starting to grow! She is smiling all the time and really starting to giggle! It is adorable. She is also back to sleeping in her own bed!! YEAH--let's hope she keeps that up. She will sleep anywhere from about 6-7 hours then wake up to eat and go right back to sleep for a few more hours. There have even been mornings that I have had to wake her sleepy bottom up! :) She is also moving around alot. She will almost automatically turn from her back to her tummy in her bed (she likes to sleep on her belly) and she is always in a different position and place in the crib when I go to get her!
Harper was baptized on the 22nd with her cousins, Maryn and Griffin. We were lucky that all of our family could be there. Harper wore the same dress that all of my mom's sisters, my mom, my sister and myself wore at our own baptisms...kind of a cool tradition. She will be four months old on April 1st, I'll report back then with her updated weight and height. She should be on track to start cereal soon as well--we'll see :)
Love from the Bailey's!

She's adorable, Stacey!! :) So glad things worked out with the sitter... Funny how God "tweaks" our lives with situations like that.. Hope we get to see you soon - are you going to return to MCS softball this summer? Please??
